Second Freshening Does

It's always exciting to watch our young doelings as they successfully bridge the gap from cuddly cuties to mature producing does.  The characteristics they gain from their dam and sire are intended to help each one grow to be a more correct individual than each of her parents.

Blazing Star Excalibur Pandora (pictured here as a weanling and then with her dam, Molly at NEMO Fair '14) was born on a very cold day in February of 2014.  She is a lovely spotted doe and shows promise of growing to be a productive doe like her dam, Molly. Pandora did suffer from frost-bite as a newborn and lost the tips off both of her pendulous ears.  She was a single doeling and descends from a cross between Copper-Hills and Lakeshore lines.  Pandora has been exposed to Huckleberry for her second freshening in mid-December 2016.

Blazing Star Titan's Katie (pictured here as a yearling with her twin sister, Katniss, and as a first freshener in Dec. 2015) was born in March of 2014.  She is a lovely doe with gorgeous pendulous ears and the sweetest disposition! Katie has a soft, even udder and perfect-sized teats for hand milking.  She is one of twin doelings and descends from a cross between Caprine Lake and Loveland lines.  Katie has been exposed to

Huckleberry for her second freshening in mid-December 2016, in hopes of repeating the result of their 2015 pairing!
