Our Impressive Fellows....

As a rule when looking for a herdsire, we view the dam of the prospective buck to evaluate her for correct conformation, mammary traits, and overall dairy characteristics.  As of 2014, we will only use Nubian bucks that are G6S normal.  The buck we choose will compliment the doe that we plan to breed him to; reconstructing her individual strengths and improving on her weaknesses.  It's important to remember that the buck you choose makes up half of your herd  and you can expect a buck's offspring to reflect the

sire's traits, good or bad! Stud service may be available for live cover by appointment.

G6S NORMAL

Goddard Farm O Huckleberry (pictured here as an eight month old weanling) is a nicely built and well mannered buck, brown with white roan over his body, lovely silver ears and black trim. His dam, Goddard Farm Olallieberry, and grand dam, Goddard Farm Raspberry, are certainly proving themselves as producers of quantities of milk and beautiful off-spring.

G6S NORMAL

Blazing Star GF Apache is a June '15 single buckling out of Blazing Star Titan's Katniss (a first freshener, very feminine and stylish doe) and sired by Goddard Farm O Huckleberry. His paternal granddam has quite a reputation for her milk producing ability.  We are happy with the way this nice yearling buck is developing and will be using him to cover a few does this Fall.  We are excited to see what his off-spring look like in Spring '17.

Uncle Nickolas
DOB 5/25/16
LA 12-0 Not Scored
G6S NORMAL

Blazing Star O Uncle Nickolas is a May '16 single buckling out of Nubilop-Acres Gypsy Rose (a large, very level doe) and sired by Goddard Farm O Huckleberry. His maternal granddam had an LA score of 90 EEEE, and both of Rosie's granddams had LA scores of 92.  We are excited to see how Uncle Nick matures on his journey to herdsire.

Goliath

Mini-Jewells Excalibur Goliath (pictured here as a long yearling, a weanling, and an 8 week old kid, w/approval of Mini-Jewells) is a long, sturdy not yet G6S tested buck, black with brown trim. His dam, Mini-Jewells Queen Amidala, did well as a first freshening 2 year old to produce such a well-filled out offspring. We are hopeful that Goliath will follow in his sire, Phineas' hoof prints as we have bred him to three Titan daughters this year, that will be freshening in late December 2014.

Blazing Star Eiffel's Gustave (pictured here as a weanling) is a nice G6S carrier buckling, black with white spots over his body. His dam, Acorn-Acres Eiffel, produced triplets with this kidding (two bucks and a doeling) and we are hopeful that Gustave will continue to develop nicely as he matures. Gustave descends from Acorn-Acres and Copper-Hill lines.

Reference Sires

Blazing Star Titans Sebastian (pictured here as a long yearling and a 4 month old weanling) is a well built G6S carrier buckling, dark red with white patches and spots over his body. His dam, Sparkle, has produced several very productive offspring and we are hopeful that Sebastian will follow in his dam's hoof prints as he matures. Sebastian descends from Kastdemur and Copper-Hill lines.

legs and feet.  Titan descends from Jacob's Pride and Kastdemur lines.  His dam, Caprine Lake FD Love's Desire, has been noted for a very long and productive lactation.

Phineas' paternal grand-dam is a stunning doe that has down well in both the show ring and the milking parlor.  Phineas is a nice buck with an easy-going attitude. He descends from Kastdemur and Lakeshore-Farms lines.

London

Ma's Acres Light of London (pictured here as a 2 year old) is a not G6S tested buck with great conformation and pronounced dairy character.  London has a long, level top-line and is easy to handle.  He is well balanced and stands on strong legs and feet.  London descends from the cross between  Cream of Kansas and Kastdemur lines.  His dam, Ma's Acres Jewel  has a very compact and symmetrical udder, producing top doelings and bucklings for us each year.
