Blazing Star O Tribute (picture not available) was born in late December 2015.  She is a lovely black doe who shows promise of growing to be a large doe like her dam, Katie (a first freshener). She is a single doeling and descends from a cross between Goddard Farms and Lakeshore lines.  Tribute is being retained in our herd.

Generally we wait until our doelings are 14-18 months of age before breeding. This allows our doelings to get their own growth before undergoing the stresses related to pregnancy, delivery, and lactation.  By breeding does that are closer to 18 months of age, we find that these young does more easily maintain their condition throughout pregnancy, delivery, and lactation to weaning.

Blazing Star O Dairy Queen (picture not available) was born in February 2016.  She is an energetic red and white doe, from one of our favourite does, Mikyway. She is a twin (one of two doelings) and descends from a cross between Goddard Farm and Copper-Hill's lines.  Dairy Queen is being retained in our herd.
