Sparkle
Our Producing Girls....
Blazing Star Breakway Sparkle (pictured here first as a 6 year old 5th freshener, then with twins in January 2013) is a not G6S tested doe with correct conformation and pronounced dairy character. She is one of triplets (two does and a buck), and following her dam's hoof prints, has raised many wonderful kids over the years. Sparkle independently raised beautiful, healthy quad doelings in the Spring of 2010. She has a long, stable lactation, peaking at more than one gallon per day and is easy to hand milk. Her udder is well balanced and she has well delineated teats. Sparkle descends from Goldthwaite and Copper-Hill lines. Her grandsire, Copper-Hill Alginons Break-away, earned Champion Nubian Sire at ADGA National Shows in 2000 and 2001. Sparkle last freshened in late January 2013 with twins (a doeling, Ariel and a buckling, Sebastian) by Caprine Lake Desire's Titan and was retired upon drying off afterward to enjoy her old age within our herd.
Blazing Star Brkwy Latte Molly (pictured here first as a 2 year old dry doe, then with a filled udder after triplets in January 2013, and finally with her doelings, Macie & Pandora) is a flashy doe. She has good body capacity, a level top-line, and very feminine characteristics. Molly has a capacious udder and perfectly sized teats, making her easy to hand milk. She descends from a cross between Copper-Hill and Ma's Acres bloodlines. Molly was exposed to Huckleberry for her eighth freshening in mid-December 2016.
Blazing Star BRKWY Sweet Heart (pictured first as a 2 year old dry doe and then with her twins in Dec. 2014) is a very correct doe. Sweet Heart is a sturdy, yet easy to handle, doe. She is one of quads (4 doelings out of her dam, Sparkle) and descends from a cross between Copper-Hills and Hyland lines. Her pedigree includes GCH and star milkers on both her sire's and dam's sides. Sweetheart has been exposed to Huckleberry for her sixth freshening in mid-December 2016.

Caprine Lake JC Iris Jr. (pictured here as a second freshening 3 year old, w/approval of Mini-Jewells) is Amidala's dam. She is not G6S tested, yet another long bodied doe with a lot of dairy character. She has a straight top line and a nice square stance. Her shoulder assembly blends naturally into a long neck line. Iris is a triplet from her dam's second freshening. She milked over a gallon as a first time freshener and has done nearly as well this year after freshening with triplet bucklings.
Iris's dam had triplets on her first and second freshenings. Her grand dam, Little-Bic's Illiad was a top 10 milker in the United States, according to ADGA, topping out at 3,390 gallons of milk with 266 days of milking in a single year.

Blazing Star Cinnamon Smores (pictured here first as a 2 year old bred doe and last as a first freshener at 7 months lactation), is a colorful doe with lots of dairy character. Cinnamon is a well filled out doe, yet easy to handle. She is one of twins (2 doelings) and descends from Cream of Kansas and Copper-Hill lines. Her pedigree includes GCH and star milkers on both her sire's and dam's sides. Cinnamon has been exposed once again to Huckleberry for her fifth freshening in mid-December 2016, in hopes of repeating the awesome results of their previous pairing!

Mini-Jewells Queen Amidala (pictured here as a first freshener, w/approval of Mini-Jewells) is a nice doe. Taking after her dam, Iris, she is a very long bodied doe, with smoothly blended shoulders, and nice teat size. Her udder attachment extends well forward and her rear attachment is high. Her buckling from 2013 was a nice big boy and we decided to keep him for breeding some of our weanling/jr. does. Ami freshened with twin doelings in early March 2014 by Titan. We have retained both of her Spring 2014 G6S Normal doelings, Katie & Katniss, as herd replacements. Amidala freshened in early 2015, delivering twins (a buckling and a doeling) to her new owner.

Blazing Star COK Mikyway Cow (pictured as a dry yearling and then as a first freshener) is an elegant doe exhibiting strength despite her small stature. She has been noted for linear traits of dairyness, udder height and fore udder attachment. Miky Way's dam, Ma's Acres Java, was a favored doe of ours and an equally impressive milker. Miky Way is a very willing milker, giving well over a gallon a day as a first freshener and was kept in milk for 21 months! She was awarded Champion Dairy Doe as a first freshener at the district show in July '13. Mikyway has been exposed to Huckleberry for her fourth freshening in mid-December 2016.

Nubilop-Acres Peppermint Twist is a sweet doe that joined the Blazing Star Nubian herd in January 2015 as a soon-to-be four year old doe exhibiting a lot of stylish dairy character. She is a loving doe and has a very graceful appearance. We look forward to Twist freshening in the future. Twist was exposed to Huckleberry in hopes of freshening in mid-December 2016.

Blazing Star Blackwood Saphire (pictured below as a weanling, and then with twins in Dec. 2014) is a very correct doe and exhibits wonderful dairy character. Saphire has the prominant Roman nose and penduous ears of the Nubian breed. She has nice sized teats for hand milking. She is one of 2 doelings (twins) and descends from a cross between Copper-Hills and Cream of Kansas Lines. Saphire had twins (a buckling and a doeling, Magic) by Sweet William for her third freshening in late Dec. 2015.
Blazing Star Brownsugar Smores (pictured here as a yearling and also with her twins in 2015) is one of a set of twin doelings (full sibling of Cupcake Smores) that were born in January 2013, to Cinnamon Smores by Caprine Lake Desire's Titan. She is a colorful, as well as growthy, doe. Brownsugar has been exposed to Huckleberry for her third freshening in mid-December 2016.

Blazing Star Cupcake Smores (picured here as a yearling), is one of a pair of twin spotted doelings out
of Cinnamon by Caprine Lake Desire's Titan. She surprised us as a first freshener with perfectly sized teats and a nice full stream of milk from both teat orifices! Cupcake is a colorful and correct doe and descends from a cross between Copper-Hills and Hyland lines. Cupcake has been exposed to Huckleberry for her third freshening in mid- December 2016.

Blazing Star Titan's Ariel (pictured here as a weanling doe) is one of a set of twins (a doeling and a buckling) out of Sparkle by Caprine Lake Desire's Titan. Ariel was our highest scoring doe for our '15 Linear Appraisal as a first freshener! She is a joy to milk with her sweet temperment as well as nicely shaped teats and a soft udder like her wonderful dam. Ariel has been exposed to Huckleberry for her third freshening in mid-December 2016.
